Stopping at Dollar Tree the other day, I had a hard time resisting the new fall décor. I adore Dollar Tree for simple holiday decorating! For just three items, totaling $3.21, after tax, and a couple things I already had at home, a glue gun and glue, and 3 leaves that I took from another fall decoration to just spiff this one up haha!

So at the store I picked up a simple Styrofoam round ring, a 9 foot reel of ribbon, and a five headed artificial flowers that matched the ribbon. The things at home that I had was hot glue and a hot glue gun. When starting I didn't plan on adding anything else, but after finishing the wreath and walking past a flower arrangement on my dinning room table I decided to pull a few leaves off and add them to it because the colors matched beautifully, and I love glitter and shine and added a touch more even though the ribbon was outlined in a god metallic.

Step One

Plug hot glue gun in to warm up. Use caution, and have an adult help if your younger. Hot glue guns can be dangerous!

Step two

Remove the flower heads from their stems

Step 3

Fold the end of your ribbon to create a smooth edge and carefully add hot glue and Very Carefully place on the wreath from

Step 4

Just wrap the wreath form with the ribbon, adding hot glue every few rounds to help keep it together. I tried to keep the same amount of distance while wrapping. How many times can I say "be carful?" well, be carful, the glue is very hot and the ribbon is very thin!

Step 5

Once you get to the end you'll want to fold the end piece over to create a nice edge, and probably not necessary, but I did. Secure well with hot glue and allow to cool down are harden

Step 6

Play around with the placement of where you want to place the flowers, going in to this I assumed that I would use all 5, but after moving them around I decided on only using 3. You do you boo boo. When you get the lay out you want add hot glue (carefully) to the bottoms and place on the wreath. I like to try and cover the seams I made at the end, and I like them asymmetrical, but that just me.

I did end up adding the leaves too just finish it up. That's it, your done!

From my home to yours, ENJOY!!!
