With a quick trip to Dollar Tree (or thrift or craft) Store, a few minutes of your time, you can have a really cool, personalized holiday craft to cherish for years to come!
It all started in the isle of Dollar Tree when I saw these really cute googly eyes! I bought four different kinds, one would have been plenty! I then found some canvases in the home isle. I brought those things home and got out our paint brushes and acrylic paint we keep on hand for school projects, and when mom wants to play haha! I also purchased a super cheap, disposable table cloth (its translucent lol) to just protect our area.

While I was in the store I had this cure little vision of cute little ghost in the shape of my kids hands gracing the canvas, in happy bright colors. My kids got other visions! We Started by tracing our hands on the canvas and then painting the background, then painting the foreground, and using artistic liberties in between.

Our sons started off innocently enough, but his lines got a little wiggly when he was painting and he kept adding eyes to his project, making it pretty freaky.
Our daughter got a little crazy with hers, got really dark and creepy with the contrasting of the yellow and purple. The bleeding wounds with eye balls is kinda off putting.

I started out thinking happy, bright colors, then wondered how hard it would be to make a rose gold out of the colors we had because well, I am on that band wagon. I decided I wanted mine to be a fancy ghost, and so she was. Sprinkles, because, why not?
I hope your family enjoys this little, silly craft as much as mine did! We may not be great artist, but the hour or so we spent making these together was absolutely priceless!
From my home to yours, ENJOY!
