Sephora Play! Review 9/18

I was pretty impressed with the September 2018 Sephora Play! subscription box.
After opening the box the item I was most excited to try out was the Too Faced Hangover RX Replenishing Face Primer. I have heard great things about it, but I am not typically a primer kind of girl, but this may have changed my mind. It worked wonderfully. I will be repurchasing.
I didn't give the Make Up Forever foundation a full day trial because it didn't match my skin tone, at no fault of its own. It had a nice texture, and I liked the satin finish it left on my skin. I would rate this as a light-medium coverage. I think I will be repurchasing this in a different shade because it held up really well.
The Boscia Cactus Water is nice and refreshing. There isn't anything that stood out to me about it. I don't know that I would repurchase this product, it works fine and has a subtle scent that is very refreshing, but I just don't have a personal use for it.
The LashCraft Big Volume Mascara surprised me the most. Hourglass recently released their Caution Mascara, and I have a bit of an obsession with it at the moment. Honestly, I wasn't really looking forward to even trying this. And I will totally admit that it definitely doesn't have the Bam! payout that Caution has, but it leaves my lashes basically clump free, a very natural look, which is nice. I had very little fall out, which I normally have a problem with. Will be repurchasing.
I feel like for me the most conflicting thing I received is the Chloe Nomade perfume. I personally didn't care for the scent on me. However, I got so many compliments! Like seriously so many people stopped me to ask what I was wearing because they loved it. I highly recommend this, but I don't think I will be repurchasing.
Last up is the Peter Thomas Roth Hungarian Thermal Water Mineral Rich Atomic Heat Mask. This product was okay. I didn't notice any great transformations in my skin, but as a mask lover, I always appreciate about any mask.
Here is a before an after using all of the products minus the Make Up Forever Foundation. I wanted to do an end of day photo, but this was a candid shot waiting on my daughter to get out of her writing club. The lighting and angle aren't great, but really it held up well. This was after a full work day, and I spent a good chunk of that time in the dish room which is very hot and humid.
Here is before makeup, during makeup, after fresh makeup, and the end of a very long day. I think I might be in love with the Too Faced Primer!
