I kinda really love October! I love fall. The air is crisp, the colors are beautiful. The fashion is comfortable. My hopes were high with the October themed Play! Box! I wasn't disappointed. While I was hoping for something a little more festive, the products were good, and what more can I expect for $10 including shipping?

Diving in, the packaging was once again the reusable and recyclable bag that was similar to the one last month. I am still not entirely sure about how I feel about it, but I think it is in a step in the right direction. If they could be dishwasher safe, it could be an amazing thing to pack work and school lunches, the gift that keeps giving and advertising as you do it...hey Sephora...

The first product I pulled out was the Maison Margiela 'Replica' Jazz Club perfume. It was this month's "bonus" product. I find it light, not overwhelming, slight musky with vanilla undertones. Its a bit complex, but not crazy. The included pamphlet says its a "woody, spicy scent that brings to mind classic cocktails and coppery tones with balmy, rich tones." I really like this scent and would totally look into repurchasing. At the time of this post Sephora has it selling for $126 for a 3.4oz bottle.

Next up was the Dr. Brandt Skin Care, Pores no more pore refiner primer. I was really excited to see this! I have just recently started using Dr. Brandt's Pores no more, pore effect refining cream and have been obsessed with the wonderful results. This lived up to the hype I had set! I thought it had a nice scent, it went on super smooth, and even though it is supposed to be a primer, I seen instant blurring of my pores and would use this as part of a no makeup-makeup look. Sephora has this for $22 for .5oz. I think I will be repurchasing this.

Something I had been thinking about purchasing that was in the bag was Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Whoppin Watermelon. I had just received the Sephora K-Beauty Box a couple days ago and thought that this should have made the cut for that box as well! It had a nice scent. I goes on easily, and it really holds on to your lips. I was hoping for more of a color pay out, as this really didn't show up on me. I might consider repurchasing this in a different color. It retails for $18.50 for a .1oz stick.

I don't like to review face cleansers, I always go back to my tried and true Johnson's and Johnson's baby wash (crazy, I know). Fresh Soy Face Cleanser is a nice and gent gel that worked perfectly well. I don't have anything bad to say about it, but it isn't taking me away from my baby wash either. would totally recommend. This retails for $15 for 1.7oz tube.

Make Up For Ever Matte Velvet Skin, it says that it is a full coverage liquid foundation that controls shine and blurs imperfections. I typically don't wear full coverage foundations because I work in a very warm kitchen and it just gets messy. I tried this out as a concealer and it worked really well for me. Would consider repurchasing this as a concealer. This currently retails for $38 for 1.01oz at Sephora.

Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup setting spay and cult classic. I totally didn't give this guy a fair first impression, I had minimal make up on this day and it wasn't a very long day. It did however work really great. I would love to continue to try this out, would consider repurchasing this as I am always in search of a setting spray that can tame a hot kitchen and 400 elementary kids. This currently sells at Sephora, $15 for 1oz.

I think this was a good box and will continue on with my Play! subscription! Looking forward to the November Box! Thanks for stopping by! From my home to yours, ENJOY!
